My Morning visitor!

My morning visitor..... I went out to start the Suburban and this is what greeted me in my yard. I was scared at first but then I ran back in the house and got the camera and the boys. After it started to walk away we saw its baby. It was so cool.

1. Where did you and your husband meet? Well I grabed his butt at a young single adult dance. Opps!
2. 1st thing said... Oh my Will you dance with me! He said yes. I was very embarrassed.

5. Long/Short Courtship or engagement...Um well as soon as his divorce papers came in the mail we got hitched.
6. Where did you get engaged...30 seconds before we got married.
7. Where were you married?...The hitch'n post.And then told everyone...
8. How did the Reception go? Reception???? what Reception??
9. Where did you go on your Honeymoon? We went to Seattle one year later.

New toys at our house!!!!

Look at my new toy. I got it when I moved and just now got it out to use. It is a very cool paper cutter and it has 11 different blades to cut the paper. No more fancy scissors for me. I love it. It even has a light on it.

While in Soldotna today we went to the Homeschooling place and got to pick up our Science kits for all our experiments that go with lessons. The boys were excited until we got home and I opened them and they saw more work. We got 5 units in all.
The units are: Planets and Stars, Our Changing Earth, Flowering Plants, Electirical Connections, and Animal Observetory. I am so excited to have all this hands on stuff.

So a big trip to town all by myself !!!!

OK you I am totally bored being at home and want to do some shopping before Christmas get here. So today I decided to brave the Alaska roads and go to town, which is 37 miles away. Not far you say well, it is if you haven't driven here before and you don't like looking out for moose. 10:oo am and off we went. We didn't see any moose and I made it. I got to Soldotna, and had limited time to do everything I wanted. Chuck wasn't with me so I could spend time looking in stores that I like. Boy was I wrong, the boys had other plans and we ended up not spending much time anywhere. We did get some Christmas shopping done. Like The boys got everyone a gift and I got things we needed at home. I then decided I wanted to get home before dark so at 1:00pm I headed for home. I made it just in time. The sun started to set as we got home. Long day you say well it was, shopping with a 10 year old and a 12 year old boy is no picnic. So to add a few gray hairs to the ones I will get someday. The day is done and it is time for bed.
