Christmas...........
We had a great Christmas. The boys each put their Christmas money towards their savings and finally had enough to get a laptop. So both boys have there our laptop. They have been playing on them ever since we got home with them.
Chuck was home for Christmas and I was very thankful.

So I volunteered to help with the tournament and became the cook for all the concession stand and the school that stayed there. It was a very busy and crazy weekend. I made over 50 pizzas, 10 dozen Cinnamon rolls, a very large peach cobbler, 4 gallons of chili, 2 gallons of BBQ pork, pancakes, ham, french toast, sausage, no-bake cookies, lots of brownies, paste stuff, and tacos. I probably forgot something but oh well. Besides all the cooking I was subbing as the janitor over the weekend and made sure the locker rooms were clean and stocked.

Today is our 1 year anniversary in Alaska. I can't believe we have lived here for a year now. We still love it and plan on living here for a very long time. The boys are enjoying the freedom not living in a city, and play outside alot. I love the quietness and the beauty. Chuck also loves the beauty and the work is good. Well happy one year to us!!!!

Update!!!
It has been a while since my last post and I not really sure what to post on. Life is busy and has been full of ups and downs.
Cory is playing basketball and they have won all their games so far.
Chris is getting straight A's and is doing great on the trombone.
Charles got a different job with which he will be gone for 2 weeks and home for 1 week and then again gone for 2 weeks again.
I have been sewing like crazy to get stuff ready for craft fairs in Spokane.
We have had lots of snow and then lots of wind to blow it all away. It has been in the 40's all week and down in the 20's at night.
Well that is all I can think of. So until something exciting happens, this will have to do.

Long Time No Post!!!!
It has been a long time since my last post. I have been busy with school stuff and my ebay stuff and posting has been neglected.
Well to update you all....................
The Boys are doing great in school. I now have a Trumpet player and a Trombone player in my home and it is so wonderful to hear them practice.
We are getting ready for winter, we are cutting and stacking wood, Halling junk to the dump and all around cleaning up the yard before the snow in here, Which will be soon. Everything is turning yellow and the leaves are falling. It is very pretty.
I am putting away my sandals and getting out my long johns, and snow boots.
Well that is about all for now.

What were they thinking!!!!
What do you get when you mix :
A tree, good for climbing
A rope, with lots of knots
A bucket, tied to the rope
And 2 boys???????
Poor Cory was standing at the bottom of the tree and Chris was up in the tree.......
You guessed it Oops Chris dropped the bucket and.............
Yep it hit Cory right on the forehead.
So Chris comes running in the house and says "Cory got hurt mom come" So I went outside thinking what is it this time. I moved his hands from his head and it was gushing blood. So I told Chris to go get Dad. I am so glad he was home my wonderful EMT!!! We got his cleaned up and decided no stitches were needed and he would be find. Chuck did his little routine test to make sure Cory didn't get a concussion. All good.
P.S. Karen I remember like you always do to take pictures. LOL

Tagged!
Ok So I will copy you all and do this tagged blog!
We'll see what people remember about me. LOL Be nice!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable. If you don't have a blog and don't know how to sign in, please comment as anonymous.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!
3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include him!
4. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all ☺
Can't wait to hear ♫♪ Memories.. of the way we were...♪♫

My Quilt blocks!
OK so I went to my quilting class and the teacher announced that she was moving to CA. She gave us a copy of all the blocks in the quilt so of course I had to do more than one for the month...
May #2 (redone because of a catsup accident)
June #3
September #6
I have 6 more blocks to do and put sashings on them. I love quilting. It is so much fun.
